Issues and Priorities

Current Initiatives

    • Working to improve city systems for providing information around critical housing matters such as eviction notification, tenant assistance programs, and parking bans during snow emergencies

    • Exploring ways to establish a 25 MPH Speed Limit for neighborhood streets

    • Finding a solution to the on-going issue of overnight dumpster pick-up

    • Advocating for the preservation of the former St. John Cantius building

Development and Infrastructure

    • Ensure that the intentions of the Sustainable Northampton Plan are reflected in our budgeting and planning, and that the amenities and infrastructure to promote walkability and traffic calming are realized

    • Work towards public access (bike/walk) to Rainbow Beach that is respectful of farmers in the meadows and mindful of this sensitive environment

    • Support the initiative to beautify and revitalize historic Bridge Street Cemetery

    • Support economic development, the arts, and a strong downtown

Traffic and Parking

    • Partner with parents, school administrators, and city officials to remedy the pick-up and drop-off congestion at Bridge Street School

    • Address our on-going problem of wayward tractor trailer trucks searching for the industrial park

    • Work to develop equitable, safe, and convenient parking options for the employees of our city businesses

My commitment to my constituents

    • I will work to promote energized and respectful discussion between neighbors and city leaders

    • I will bring a social justice lens to all of my work on city council so that Northampton continues to move towards becoming an increasingly inclusive, diverse, and welcoming community.

    • I will respond to every phone call and email
